Child
A young person whose data needs a parent's consent.
The Act treats children's personal data with extra care. Before processing it, a business needs verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
It also may not track or monitor children's behaviour, or target advertising at them, in ways that could harm their wellbeing.
