Data Fiduciary
The business or person that decides why and how personal data is processed.
If your business decides what personal data to collect and what to do with it, you are a Data Fiduciary. Most companies are one for their customers, staff and website visitors.
The Fiduciary carries the duties under the Act, even when a vendor does the actual processing.
